I learned a cool technique from doing a project of Carol Wingert's, on how to dress up a plain piece of chipboard. First, take a chipboard piece that is already cut out or stamp one on chipboard and then cut it out. I used this dove...
Then take a jar of Golden Medium gel, a paste-like substance, and stipple it on your chipboard piece, leaving little peaks. Let it dry thoroughly. Once dry, color your piece with paint or whatever you have. I used a Gold Leafing pen and then used All Purpose Ink for fantastix. The results are amazing! You now have these cool pieces that are 3 dimensional. Here's the dove and some pears that I made using this technique. Try it- I'd love to see what you come up with!
