The funny things kids say...

I have to share this with you. My 4-year-old daughter was asking questions about Santa, like "how do Santa's reindeer fly" and "how does Santa know who's been naughty and who's been nice?". We told her that Santa sees everything, all year round, so he knows if you've been bad or good. She thought really hard about that one, and finally said, very seriously, "I think I'm on the naughty list". We about died! It was so cute and funny at the same time and she was just as serious as she could be.

It was one of those moments that I knew I would want to remember, so I scrapped it as soon as I thought of a picture that would fit. The picture I chose was taken at Thanksgiving of this year, so the timing was only about a month's difference, but the expression was exactly the same.

If you are ever needing a little inspiration, think about some of the funny things your kids (or grandkids) have said. Sometimes they give us the perfect prompt for a layout!
