Snuggle Up for the Season

I hope that you all enjoyed the busy holiday season, and are adjusting to the everyday pace of "reality". It has been pretty busy around here, but I have so many thank you cards to make! Don't you? Here's a little something that came together using more fantastic goodies found at Creativity Boutique and from the KNK December scrapbooking kit.

The stamp is one of my favorites for winter, it is called Snuggle Season. After stamping, I cut it out using the nestabilities curved rectangles and mounted it on a piece of bazzill cardstock from the December KNK kit. Imade a band using more of the patterned paper from my kit, and mounted it onto some cardinal cardstock. These rectangles are then mounted onto a piece of white bazzill cardstock that has been run through the Big Shot machine using a snowflake embossing folder. All of this is then mounted on another piece of patterned paper from the amazing December KNK kit. These layers are finally mounted onto a card base that is made using the same blue cardstock from the kit. To make it sparkle, some crystal stickles are added underneath the chilly figures to make it look like they are standing in the snow. See the sparkly snowflake as an accent, that's called a Petaloo Holiday Dazzler. And last but not least, the snowman and penguin are accented with white flocking.
These make great all-purpose cards to send in wintertime!
See you soon!
