PEACE Everywhere

Happy Monday everyone!

Here is a card that I made using the Peace Everywhere stamp set from Stampendous. The card base is pretty simple...I ran some Coredinations green paper through my bigshot with a holiday embossing folder. Then I sanded over top to help the detail jump out. I used a piece of holiday patterned paper from my stash, and mounted the main stamp onto cardinal coredinations cardstock. To make the dove sparkle, I painted the stamped image with Tim Holtz rock candy crackle paint---OMG, if you haven't used this before RUN to Creativity Boutique and get lots!!! This is the easiest way to get a cracked glass effect...but this is glittery! Most of us at Kit-n-Kaboodles are in love with this amazing product...I told my hubby to get me at least 6 for Chanuka!!!

The sentiment looked kind of plain and boring,so I painted it with watercolor crayons to match the green and red of the rest of the card. The little button just gives it a little extra pop.
One last thing...the card measures 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 so it is larger than the standard cards.
May Peace Be With You this holiday season!
